THANK YOU FOR JOINING US
27th Annual Jim Maloney Golf Classic- a hole in one, a slam dunk, a huge success in the fight to Crush Cancer!
Thank you to our sponsors, including Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center- Thomas Jefferson University and HSS Wealth Management at UBS and Rick Hughes, golfers, volunteers, and all of our generous supporters who joined us at Huntingdon Valley Country Club. We crushed our fundraising goal and raised $145,000 to support the mission of the American Cancer Society. A special thanks to Big 5 Schools and Coaches Steve Donahue, Fran Dunphy, Adam Fisher, Billy Lange, Kyle Neptune, and Zach Spiker, and to our emcee, Joe Lunardi!
The Coaches vs. Cancer Philadelphia Golf Classic honors the memory of former Temple Men's Basketball Coach, Jim Maloney. In his 14 years behind the bench with former Coach John Chaney, Maloney mentored future NBA players like Aaron McKie, Eddie Jones, and his son, Matt Maloney. His presence in the Philadelphia basketball community is missed.
More information coming soon about our 2024 tournament.
THE PHILADELPHIA COACHES VS. CANCER PROGRAM

The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches uniting basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. In Philadelphia, our donors, sponsors, and volunteers have made a huge impact on the lives of cancer patients and their families by raising over $20 million since the program began in 1996.
