27th Annual American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer
Jim Maloney Golf Classic

The Coaches vs. Cancer Philadelphia Golf Classic honors the memory of former Temple Men's Basketball Coach, Jim Maloney. In his 14 years behind the bench with former Coach John Chaney, Maloney mentored future NBA players like Aaron McKie, Eddie Jones, and his son, Matt Maloney. His presence in the Philadelphia basketball community is missed.

Our last few Golf Classics have sold out. You won't want to miss this one! Join us at our 27th Annual Golf Classic, Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Huntingdon Valley Country Club.

THE PHILADELPHIA COACHES VS. CANCER PROGRAM

Coaches 23.png

The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches uniting basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. In Philadelphia, our donors, sponsors, and volunteers have made a huge impact on the lives of cancer patients and their families by raising over $20 million since the program began in 1996.

OVERALL IMPACT OF
The American Cancer Society

More than 18 million cancer survivors are alive today, thanks in part to the American Cancer Society. We are the only organization working to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. You can help save lives by supporting the 27th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer Jim Maloney Golf Classic.
