25th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer
Jim Maloney Golf Classic
September 20, 2021 // Rolling Green Golf Club

The health and safety of our volunteers, golfers, and guests is the American Cancer Society's number one goal.
Please read more about event day details and COVID-19 safety guideline information >

The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches uniting basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. In Philadelphia, our donors, sponsors, and volunteers have made a huge impact on the lives of cancer patients and their families by raising over $16 million since the program began in 1996.

The Coaches vs. Cancer Philadelphia Golf Classic honors the memory of former Temple Men's Basketball Coach, Jim Maloney. In his 14 years behind the bench with retired Coach John Chaney, Maloney mentored future NBA players like Aaron McKie, Eddie Jones, and his son, Matt Maloney. His presence in the Philadelphia basketball community is missed.
